Compendium

Release 0.9 – Draft, April 30, 2017

This Compendium of Scientific and Practical Findings Supporting Eco-Restoration to Address Global Warming (the “Compendium”) is a fully referenced compilation of the evidence outlining the power, benefits and necessity of eco-restoration to address global warming. Bringing together findings from the scientific literature, government and industry reports, and journalistic investigations, it is a public, open-access document that is housed here on the website of Biodiversity for a Livable Climate.

Our first release, a draft, covers only a few areas of interest with a limited selection of articles. We believe that it nonetheless introduces the intent and early efforts of this Compendium. We invite others who wish to contribute to its development as a powerful tool for promoting eco-restoration as a primary approach for addressing global warming to send suggestions and article reviews to staff@bio4climate.org.  We expect the first full release by mid-July 2017 – please check back soon!
