Wednesdays, September 16 – November 18
12:00 pm – 2:00 pm ET and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm ET
Join restoration ecologist Jim Laurie for a new 10-week Biodiversity course exploring the living relationships that connect forests, fungi, wetlands, grasslands, animals, and Indigenous knowledge. Drawing on Suzanne Simard’s When the Forest Breathes and Merlin Sheldrake’s Entangled Life, the course examines Mother Trees, mycorrhizal networks, beavers, grazing animals, soil carbon, and ecological restoration in the forests, wetlands and grasslands.
This is not a typical course. Participants become part of Jim’s Symbiosis Team, an emergent learning community where people of all backgrounds explore deep science, exchange ideas, and learn together.
