Alexandra Ionescu, our Associate Director of Regenerative Projects, attended BeaverCON 2026 at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She presented on how elements of the Miyawaki Method could be repurposed to planting beaver food and support forage—an idea welcomed by the community that we hope will lead to future collaborations. She also joined an early-career field trip with Dr. Emily Fairfax, her lab, and nearly 40 fellow participants to connect, share experiences, and explore beaver-excavated canals in waders! Read Alex’s key takeaways from five days of learning and connection here.
